Finally!

Ok, finally I am blogging!

Seriously, I have been meaning and intending to blog for quite some time. And I finally just bit the bullet today and decided to start! No time like the present...

For Max's 6th b-day, my parents gave him the complete set of Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House books. We started reading them the end of May and can't seem to put them down. On a good day, we get 2 chapters read (one at quiet time and one at bedtime). So far, we have made it to By the Shores of Silver Lake.

Our family (I am including Julian in this, although he may be slightly clueless) cannot get enough of the trials and tribulations Laura and her family endured. Perhaps part of our fascination lies with the Ingalls' adventures in South Dakota and Minnesota. We're planning on attending the festival next summer. Can't wait!!
